Tuesday Linkpost 01.06.09

The weekly linkpost is moving to Tuesdays to help the publishing schedule.

Did you get a new camera during the holidays or know someone who did?  Digital Photography School has pulled together a page with links to in their in depth articles on camera basics and technique.

Apparently there is a Facebook group called "Chase Jarvis shoots better pics with his iPhone than I could with a Hasselblad" and I can see why.  Professional photographer Chase Jarvis shares how he gets such amazing pictures with his iPhone's camera.

Have you put together a year end review from your photoblog or would you like to show off your best photo of 2008?  Head on over to JMG Galleries and fill out the contact form.  Next week Jim will post all the entries he has received.  It should be a great set of pictures.  The deadline to submit is Sunday January 11th.

We're back!

John Arnold explores why there are so many great photographers around these days.

'Tis the season to buy for that photographer in your family.  I think the "What the Duck" book would be a big hit with any shutterbug on your shopping list.

Website Find: Presets Heaven
I'm not sure if finding this Lightroom resource was a good thing or a bad thing.  I think I may have a presets addiction problem and this doesn't help.
