Tragic loss to The Art Car Museum and Houston

I didn't attend this year's Art Car parade due to family commitments but I know that many of the Houston Photoblogger community will have, as it is one of the most colorful, fun photographic events on the Houston calendar.

As a newbie to Houston 4 years ago it completely amazed me that such a 'bizarre' event existed, but I'm very glad it does exist as Houstonians are all the richer for it.

So I was very saddened to hear of the tragic and completely preventable death of Tom Jones, Photography curator of the Art Car Museum, early Sunday Morning.
